This blog and is year-long experiment inspired by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Ann Voskamp who discovered the secret to living life at its fullest. The secret? Thankfulness. Time slows and joy increases as we stop to acknowledge the numerous gifts we have and the One that gave them. Ultimately, this blog is inspired by God. As I was sitting around the house doing work today I got to thinking about today's gifts. Why is today special? What do I have that others don't have and that I easily could not have? Here's a few things I thought of:

12. a hot water shower
13. crispy olliebollen and the ability to carry on traditions a world away
14. the feel of grass on bare feet
15. laughter of friends
